Music club to provide fun family afternoon

12/09/2008 11:12:00 AM
It’s on again this Sunday and country music fans are invited to come along.

An enjoyable, friendly afternoon of entertainment is set to be provided by the Australian Country Music Artists and Supporters Association Inc of Wellington.

“We had the residents of Wellington in mind when we started our country music club,” president Jason O’Brien said.

“We wanted to provide our town with a family friendly venue, free entry, sausage sizzle, friendly people and great music.

“Our band volunteers their time and they are great musicians. They will back anyone up who would like to sing a country song.”

The club has been running for almost 12 months and the next social is at the ‘Frogs Hollow Country Tavern’, Wellington Bowling Club Auditorium this Sunday from 2pm until 6pm.
