This week will be our last game of netball before we break for school holidays and have two weeks off. Netball will then recommence on July 26.
Last Saturday many people got in and helped run the day. The committee would like to thank everyone who helped make the morning run so smoothly.
Karen, Loretta and Terrece we very impressed they survived the day without our leader Marie, but Marie had full faith that they would.
This week may see some of the committee missing in action so players and parents please assist where you can.

As our carnival is July 27 (the first weekend back after holiday) we really need people to volunteer their service.
We are going to need plenty of helpers on the day so please let Karen know if and when you can help so she can figure out some kind of roster.
We will need volunteers to make cakes, slices etc so we can sell them on the day and make the carnival both an enjoyable and profitable experience. Please put your name down at the desk if you can help on the day and/or prepare goodies to sell.
Players need to get their names to Karen this Saturday if they intend to play in our carnival.
Please put your teams together so we can be organised. There are divisions for the 8-9 nettas, the under 10s, 12s, 14s or 16s as well as the opens division, providing there are enough players in each.

The Sydney trip is on Sunday August 24. After all the organising we have done we would hate to see this fall through, so please support.
The trip will require a $25 deposit and a further $25 or so. This includes transport and tickets to two games. Write your name on the list on the notice board this weekend if you are interested.
This raffle for the $50 fuel voucher is still going and should be drawn this Saturday. The raffles are to help offset the cost of the Sydney trip.
Our next committee meeting is scheduled for July16 and will be held at the RSL. This meeting is mainly to discuss the operations of our carnival and all are welcome to attend.

The match between Country Bumpkins and Bumblebees wasn’t so close; Country Bumpkins blitzed the courts, winning 24-6.
In the Opens Club House Crew are starting to play well together as a team, bagging their second win defeating Pretty Kittys 41-32. Fantastic work girls.
Morleys and Red Delicious had an exciting match where scores were close. Morleys proved too good for the reds winning 39-31.
